“Finding Beauty in an Imperfect World” features diverse work ranging from painting, bookmaking, printmaking, and photography, and was created as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic and shelter-in-place order. Open StudiosĪrtists open their studios for the community, offering workshops, art, and refreshments throughout the day.Ĭubberley Artist Studio Program (CASP) Artists Barbara Boissevain and Pantea Karimi curated a virtual exhibit featuring the work of fourteen artists in residence at CASP. The goal of this exhibit is to encourage and draw upon a broad range of community perspectives, aesthetic responses, and media. Public AlchemyĬASP artists invites local artists to submit work for an entry-fee-free open exhibition, every other year. Other activities provided are performances, art exhibits, food and snacks, information tables by Cubberley renters and tenants, along with volunteer opportunities. Selected CASP artists host open studios and art workshops.
